The latest trailer of Assassin’s Creed has proven itself worthy of our attention taking it deeper on the action-packed scenes of the movie ( not to mention changing the music background). The trailer has gained millions of views and positive reviews too.
Assassin’s Creed is one of the most beloved video games over the last decade. The forthcoming movie adaptation of it has already made a fuss over the internet after its first trailer was released on May 2016. Not only because of Kanye’s “I am a God” being inappropriate to be the music background but the breathtaking parkour actions. The second trailer jumps higher to redeem itself but it’s still lacking the love from the game that we’ve been looking for.
“Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.”
The modern day shown in the trailer was good but how did they end up with this story? Why didn’t they just concentrate on what happened in the Holy War during the Spanish Inquisition and showcase a lot of the mind-blowing actions of the assassins? No offense but experimenting on someone for a main goal of gaining knowledge about something is no longer new in movies of this generation. But since the movie will be watched by both gamers and non-gamers, it’s a safe escape to make the movie-goers understand what’s happening in the movie. If the movie will show more action on the Spanish Inquisition, it would be enough to get the excitement that we’ve been looking for.
The expectations are high for the Assassin’s Creed movie but we will have to wait and see if it deserves to earn a spot on the best game adaptation movies of all time. You can watch the trailer here:
The Assassin’s Creed movie is set for release this coming December 2016 so mark that calendar because you don’t want to miss this one. After we’ve seen the excitement of how the Warcraft movie earned a two-thumbs up from the fans, Assassin’s Creed movie should get the same expectations to make this year the best for game adaptation movies.
