Top Pokemons You’ll Need To Be The Very Best In Ruling Gyms

You have finally settled in the game of Pokemon Go and probably mastered the tricks of how to find pokemons and how to catch them easily. And the next step you’re planning to do is taking over the gyms, the best way you would only achieve that is forming the best pokemon team possible. Not only for fighting, but for defending it as well.

The recent discovery of the hidden stats mirrored from the original game gave us a good insight to which pokemons would rank the best to least according to their Attack, Defense, and HP (hitpoints, health,or stamina) stats. Of course you’ll direclty say that the best of the best are the legendaries in the game like Mewtwo,Mew,Articuno,Moltres, and Zapdos but there are entries on the list that might surprise you.

Every Pokemon has strengths and weaknesses, so it’s better for you to know which pokemon you would look out for and which one would fit your team. Some of the strongest in attack and defense pokemons can be caught on the map, all you need to do is find them:

If you have noticed the gyms in your area ruled by certain team, you will definitely see a dragonite in the picture. That’s because dragonite mostly have the highest stats among them all. You would also see that most of the pokemons on this list are fire-type pokemons. Arcanine is also used by many in using it on battling gyms.

Of course, tank pokemons are good to defend your gym especially when you’re not always around. And the highest defense stat pokemon that you can obtain in the game is blastoise and dragonite.

Most people are mistaken to think that Snorlax have the highest hp stat in the game, it’s actually Chansey. Chansey is considered as one of the rare pokemon you’ll find in the game, so catching one needs a lot of luck.

Overall, since the game haven’t release any updates on where and when will the legendaries appear in the game, the best pokemon you can have with an overall package of high stats is Dragonite, Snorlax, Lapras, Arcanine, and Blastoise. Catching these pokemons isn’t easy, but it sure is worth it. How’s that for a team?
