The augmented reality mobile game hits the world of MMO gaming by storm as Pokemon GO gets its first release this July 2016. The whole world went crazy over Pokemon GO and kept finding ways to get the game but sadly, it did not work for all of us as expected.
Many people was disappointed being not able to play the game but it was clearly understood why and Niantic explained that the server was only paused to the countries where the game is not released yet to avoid any more problems regarding the instability of servers and being unable to connect with the game. And that means Europe and Asia was getting a little bit left behind on the excitement and thrill of the game.
Speaking more generally, Niantic founder John Hanke said Niantic is now focusing on “enhancing and improving Pokemon Go.” He continued: “It is an MMO, so it is something we’re committed to regular updates and that. There will be new clients and server iterations pushed bi-weekly.”
“You can add things like a lure to a PokeStop today that sort of modifies the PokeStop and causes it to attract more Pokémon it,” he said. “There is some thinking about how to further modify and evolve PokeStops and gyms. Players will be able to shape them and add functionality to them by working collaboratively together, so that’s an area that we’ll be spending quite a bit of effort over the coming weeks and months on.”
The future updates mentioned includes : add trading as a new feature “fairly soon,” along with further gameplay depth to PokeStops and gyms. The whole team is working hard to get the game going smoothly and bi-weekly iterations for new updates.
Pokemon Go is estimated to have generated $14 million since its launch. Other reports have said Pokemon Go is now bigger than Tinder in the US and is closing in on Twitter when it comes to daily active users. Imagine how much they will be able to generate when they invade Europe and Asia?!
And according to the people who is “familiar with the plans for the game”, it will finally be released in Europe, Japan and the rest of the Asian nations within a few days! Yes! Sooner or later, Pokemon GO will take over the world and all those kids dream of becoming the best pokemon trainer will finally come true. And others have confirmed the speculations that it will come to Asia and other parts of the world before the end of the month!
