The polls have been counted and the most popular anime this Spring season has been announced. And for the first week of poll, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu takes on the number one spot for being the most popular and enjoyed by fans all over the world.Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu can be translated as Re: Life in a Different World from Zero, a light novel series written by Nagatsuki Tappei and illustrated by Otsuka Shinichiro.

If you haven’t heard of this anime yet, it has already been airing on our televisions since 4th of April. So where have you been?! Here is a short synopsis of what this anime is all about:

“Suddenly, high school student Subaru Natsuki has been summoned to another world on the way back from the convenience store. With the biggest crisis of his life being summoned to another world, and with no sign of the one who summoned him, things become even worse when he is attacked. But when he is saved by a mysterious, silver-haired girl with a fairy cat, Subaru cooperates with her to return the favor. When they finally manage to get a clue, Subaru and the girl are attacked and killed by someone. Subaru then awakens in the place he was summoned and notices he gained the ability “Returns by Death” and has become a helpless boy that only has the ability to rewind time by dying. Beyond the despair, can he save the girl from the fate of death? “
Sounds really interesting, no wonder it has been kicking off the competitions. Next in line of Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu is the Bungou Stray Dogs as number two and Koutetsujou No Kabaneri on the third spot. If these two is your favorite, don’t lose your hope, the voting is just for the first week of the season result.

The returns by death is not new for me since I have seen a lot of movies and anime that almost depicts the same situation. But we will have to see what Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu can offer to the table that will keep its spot being number one in the next few weeks. For now, let’s enjoy the episodes and watch out for the new comers. MAL have rated the anime with 8.36 score and is RATED 17+ due to intense violence and profanity in the show, and I think it deserves to get that high rating.
