Let’s once again go down the memory lane of the most precious movies we’ve had and we have grown up with. I understand each of us has their own favorite movie that every time we think of it, it just gives us chills remembering the childhood we had when we first saw that movie. And this time, I’m sharing my favorite movie.
You guys remember the VHS tapes? The ones we use before CD was created (Yeah it’s that old). Well, it was that long since I first saw it.
Tarzan, a fictional character that molds the true meaning of hope, courage, and unconditional love. Tarzan is an archetypal feral child raised in the African jungles by the Mangani great apes; he later experiences civilization only to largely reject it and return to the wild as a heroic adventurer.Kala is his ape mother.
When Tarzan was still an infant, the airplane crashed into the jungle and his parents died on that crash. Hearing a baby’s cry inside the jungle, Kala searched for him and imprinted an unconditional love for the baby and adopted Tarzan raising him as one of their own.
Tarzan’s jungle upbringing gives him abilities far beyond those of ordinary humans. These include climbing, clinging, and leaping as well as any great ape, or better. He uses branches and hanging vines to swing at great speed, a skill acquired among the anthropoid apes. His strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, senses, flexibility, durability, endurance, and swimming are extraordinary in comparison to normal men.
During his adult life, he met Jane Porter. Jane was with his father and their arty marooned on the same coastal island, when they were finally rescued and returned to her home. Tarzan left the jungle in search for his true love and take on the challenges of the civilization he never encountered before. They finally found each other and got married settling in on Jane’s home in England.
Tarzan has become a heroic figure to every child’s eyes and I also looked up to how he was to his family and friends, how he protects them in any danger, and how he never gave up to reach what his heart says.
And what a great way to once again bring back his legacy to every child of this generation than a new movie of “The Legend of Tarzan”, the movie will be released on July 1, 2016. It’s a come back movie for Tarzan going back to the jungle he once lived in.
